ABOUT US
Our goal is to support local evangelists and churches in Africa so they can reach people with the Gospel. In Africa there are people who have no prospect of a hopeful future, people who live without any hope of improving their living conditions. We believe in the power of the Gospel because God works miracles and can change people’s lives!
Many churches in Africa are focused on their own congregation and hardly involved in the evangelizing work. Living Hope Africa wants to motivate churches to dedicate themselves to those who live in a hopeless existence. We can serve them and provide the right means so that they are able, through the Gospel, to bring Hope to all who so heartily need God’s nearness. This guidance means that the Living Hope Africa Foundation appoints gospel leaders to motivate and equip church congregations for their task.
Practically, this is given shape by helping the local churches to start up development projects with the aim of making an independent living environment possible for people who have been lost sight of by church and society. Help the local churches to give Hope for the future and help improve living conditions.

KHARUNDA DEBORAH
VISION BEARER & DIRECTOR
Deborah is a formally compassion sponsored child. Born in a family of 11 children of which she is the first born. She testifies that the coming of compassion in her community was such a plan of God to have her life turned around for good and to give her a foundation
and base for what God had purposed her to be. Thus the opportunity of being enrolled in the sponsorship program transformed not only her life but her entire family spiritually and financially. All that she received from compassion family- education, spiritual nurturing, material needs is summarized as “God’s unfailing Love” which when she grew up consumed her till she was convinced that it’s God’s desire for every person on the face of the earth to personally experience the same by knowing Him since they are all created in His image
Deborah went to Nkumba University where she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business administration in Banking, finance and insurance. Whilst there, she kept asking God what His purpose for her life is meanwhile she engaged herself in Christian union activities like hostel to hostel outreaches, clubs, and evangelistic missions organized by the university to tell people about the gospel-God’s Love. Since then the desire to reach out to people and help them come to the knowledge of their creator became part of her life. She is dedicated to living this purpose because she believes God’s Love restores hope to the hopeless, transforms lives renews and heals the broken hearted.
Deborah is Now married to Eric Nsamba and together they have one son- Christian Nsamba.
JANE OLAKI
MISSIONS COORDINATOR
Jane Olaki is an incredible woman of faith, vision and focus. She loves being in the field preaching Jesus Christ to people, guiding and counselling young and old women and nothing can distract her from her God given mandate
Along the years of her ministry and service to God, she amassed a wealthy of experience and knowledge as she served as a manager of Fashion and Compassion organization a project under African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries. she retired from there just to fully focus on the work of God. She also served as a chairperson Baptist women of East Africa region.
Now she faithfully serves on the leadership team of New life Baptist Church as an elder and evangelism leader. It’s from there that Everlasting Hope found her and considered her to be the ministry’s mission’s coordinator
Jane Olaki did a diploma in Christian ministry at east African bible institute in 2005, she also trained in premarital counselling at Kampala evangelical school of theology, trained at African leadership and reconciliation ministries for women leadership, computer skills from Uganda institute of Technology.
IRENE NAKASIITA
VICE CHAIRPERSON
Irene is a Christian humanitarian activist and passionate about speaking on issues affecting the vulnerable people and advocating for their well-being. For years she’s served in those positions that provide the opportunities for fulfilling her passion
Irene has worked for compassion international Uganda as a Sponsor & Donor Services Associate from July 2010 – July 2013, World Vision Uganda as a Coordinator Major Donor Relations – USA Portfolio from July 2013 – Dec 2015. From there she joined Uganda Red Cross Society and worked as a fundraising and Public Relations Coordinator from December 2015 – September 2016 and through the years she has served there she has been elevated to great positions. She currently works as head of Communications and Public Relations Uganda Red Cross Society as well as a surge Communications Delegate for International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent – Finland.
Her education background includes, MA-Journalism & Communications MUK 2010-2014. BSC. Information Technology MUK 2007-2009. She loves nature, flowers, crafts, adventure and taking photographs.
FAITH UWERA
TREASURER
Faith is an experienced accountant by profession has a seasoned perspective on good principals of financial management, planning and budgeting for the development of an organization.
FAITH serves as a Treasurer for EHA (Everlasting Hope Africa) her aspiration is to make most use of her potential to discover new horizons in the field of acting while utilizing her perfect blend and creativity to perform to the benefit of the organization
As a graduate from the Leadership Development Program under compassion international, FAITH holds good leadership principals like servant leadership, demonstrating a Godly character. She performs and leads her life with integrity among other outcomes of the program. She was recognized as an outstanding student leader. While not busy with billing, receipts and invoices, l enjoy spending time with the little children.
DR. RICHMOND WANDERA
MINISTRY ADVISOR
Dr. Richmond is a pastor of New Life Baptist church Kireka and also a founder of Pastors Discipleship Network a ministry that has seen many lives of pastors and different church leaders in Uganda and across East Africa transformed through theological trainings
offered so that church leaders can be able to read and interpret the word of God correctly and be able to lead their congregations in the knowledge of the truth of the word of God. In his commitment to church leadership development, Dr. Richmond not only does this with a passion but with a spirit of excellence yet with a very clear humility which you will not only see in him but in all those he leads especially when you come in an encounter with just one of his flock
Dr. Richmond holds a PHD in philosophy of Leadership from Lancaster Bible College, MA spiritual formation and discipleship, Ba of science in Business administration.
MAKUBUYA FRED
SECRETARY
Fred is a Born again Christian who confessed Jesus Christ as lord 28th of December 2010. I am married to Brenda Ntono and currently we live in Ntinda Uganda. I am a professional counsellor holding a bachelor’s degree in
guidance and counselling from Kyambogo University.
Fred is currently working with smart 24tv the first business channel in Uganda but holding wide spectrum of experience with many organizations like compassion, Taso, the infectious disease institute and throughout this experience he has learnt to reach out to all odds of people with different characters and backgrounds
Fred embraces dignity, excellence, integrity and stewardship as his personal core values for life. His vision for life is to help young people become the best version of their lives through self-discovery, development and deployment. He a skilled and talented Ugandan both in the field of leadership, business and relationship and practices this in different areas on daily basis not forgetting the proclamation of the gospel .
OSAPIRI JOHN
CHAIRPERSON
John has always been actively involved in Christian/church activities since childhood and taken advantage of any available opportunities to preach the gospel. His family background also gave him a strong foundation for his mother was a pastor of a
local church in their village which always availed him with opportunities of finding and exercising his God given gifts and potentials. Since then the gospel has always been the center of everything he does, till date John continues to proclaim the gospel even alongside his demanding career as a lawyer, it’s not by coincidence that he now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity where he is responsible with the Management of the overall operations and resources of the organization and acting as the main point of communication for the organization.
He has worked in various fields including being head of Mediation and a Legal Research at the commission of Lands Inquiry where he led in mediation and negotiations of Settlements, offering professional legal advice to complainants among other activities of the like, while there he was concurrently lecturing students of law at his former university Nkumba. His education background includes MA in law from the University of Dar es Salaam (2016-2017), BA of laws from Nkumba university (2010-2014) post graduate diploma from Law Development Centre (2017-2018)
Despite his demanding career, John’s passion for the ministry has never been blurred as he has been always actively participated in the ministry outreaches here and there whenever he has time. John is not only the chairperson of Everlasting Hope Africa but also the legal advisor for the ministry.
